The PSG football adviser would not have really learned the lessons of his first failed transfer window at the club.
The summer transfer window is approaching and who says summer transfer window means big activity in Paris. This off-season should not differ from previous ones in the French capital. And, like last year, Luis Campos should play a big role in the recruitment operation.
The noose is tightening for Luis Campos
His choices in 2022 had not really been unanimous. He was not responsible for all the files, but it is an understatement to say that the transfer window was not a great success. And Kylian Mbappé was the first to point this out in the heart of the fall, complaining about the quality of the team.

Has the Portuguese leader learned the necessary lessons from this period? It would seem not. Because, the first recruits able to land at the champions of France are already arousing a lot of negative remarks. There is Lucas Hernandez, the French international full-back, who spends most of his time in the infirmary and there is the young Uruguayan Sporting CP midfielder, Manuel Ugarte. This element is certainly promising (22 years old) but it is not worth the 60M€ that Campos is inclined to pay for his services. He is willing to overpay in order to pull the rug out from under the feet of the competition, embodied in particular by Chelsea.
The former sporting director of Monaco does not have limited credit in Paris. And there is no doubt that he is betting his future on the work he will do in the coming months and weeks. It is said that in the premises of the PSG, one would have already condemned it. He is even the object of ridicule of all kinds. The team reveals a statement made by a club employee concerning him: “You will see, Campos will release a Portuguese at €50m, represented by Mendes in a few days. »
